Investigation of Nonlinear Behavior of the Reinforced Concrete Columns for Different Confined Concrete Models

Stress-strain and moment-curvature behavior of the reinforced concrete (RC) square columns have been analytically investigated according to different confined models. The effect transverse reinforcement diameter, spacing grade on RC column models were investigated. For models, confinement effectiveness coefficient, effective lateral confining stress, compressive strength, strain at maximum stress ultimate values calculated. In second part, a parametric investigation was carried out for examining effects design parameters relationships. Analytical relationships obtained cross-sections by using TBEC (2018), Mander model (1988), Saatcioglu Ravzi (1992) evaluated in terms moment capacity curvature cross-section. stress-strain are compared parameters.
